Altermans is a solicitors firm specialising in a full range of legal service to clients in North London.
Brief
Altermans existing case management system was nearly 20 years old and required many updates as it was tied to old hardware.
Solution
Hero Solutions worked with Altermans to gather system requirements and to identify the workflows that the case management system needed to support. This information was formed into a function specification document and flow diagrams. We worked with Altermans’ IT support company to understand their network infrastructure so that the new case management system could take advantage of the new technologies that the old case management system couldn’t use.
The case management section adapts depending on the case type being edited, so that the user can enter fields, alerts and documents for the particular case category. The new case management system integrates with Microsoft Office 365 by allowing users to view and store emails against cases, and it also automatically assigns received emails to specific cases when it can identify which case it relates to.
